They were standing under a tree, each with an arm round the other's neck.
THE PRINTER: Original wood engraving printed in 1988 by Jonathan Stephenson at the Rocket Press in Oxfordshire.
THE PRINT: The paper is acid-free 145gsm Zerkall Halbmatt mould-made and measures 241 x 175mm and has a deckle edge at the foot. Each print bears the publisher's embossed stamp of authentication - MACMILLAN LONDON 1988 - and the edition number. The stamp is obscured by our mount.
THE FRAMES: The frames are plain oak with Tiechert archival mount. The external dimensions are 265 x 205mm. On the back of the frame is the text relevant to the print together with a description of the history of the printing. |
